Are there times when you have felt hopeless, alone and unable to do the things you once loved?
Have there been times in your life when you felt there was something wrong but you just couldn’t pinpoint what was causing you to feel that way?
Have you felt a bit too angry or frustrated in your everyday life?
Are you unable to relax and control your thoughts at night after a busy day?
Do you feel your teen is out of control?
Are you tired of your teen talking back or disrespecting you?
Whether your issues and struggles are new or have been around for a long period of time, I can help you. You will learn to develop positive coping skills to provide relief from your distress. Our time together can also help you develop tools for handling future distress that may come into your life.
I offer you a safe, empathic and nonjudgmental environment where we can have a collaborative therapeutic relationship. I work hard to make sure I fully understand your issues and to be a part of your healing journey.
My experience working at an inpatient treatment facility for teens and adults provides a wealth of knowledge of practical skills that you can use to effectively alleviate or reduce anxiety, depression and poor behavior. My goal is to help you live more fully and authentically, improve relationships, and have increased satisfaction in your day-to-day life overall.
As a therapist, my role is to help guide and support you, so that you live a meaningful life, uncover and discover your strengths, learn to develop more supportive relationships, and decrease unhealthy ways of thinking, coping and behaving. I also believe in nurturing your potential for growth and change, and taking an active role in your process for living life fully.
I am a marriage family therapist associate with a focus on adult Individual Therapy, Family Therapy and Teen Therapy. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. My experience at Azusa Pacific has also provided an opportunity to infuse spirituality into the therapeutic process as an additive resource for clients whose faith is an integral part of their life.
